Class Descriptions
These art classes are devoted to teaching eye-training skills and realistic representations. These classes are not "arts and crafts", "modern art" or "free expression". There is a place for those forms of art, but these classes are based on classical methods and are more structured.

Little Picassos
(7-9 yrs.)
This class is an introduction to art and drawing. In this class, your child will learn the basics and begin learning eye training. Also included in this class is art history where students will learn about famous artists, what they painted, and where they lived.
Jr. da Vincis
(10-12 yrs.)
In this class students will learn how to draw in both graphite and color pencil. Much time will be devoted to eye training through fun drawing exercises. These exercises include still life, gesture drawings, upside-down drawings, and perspective drawings.
Monet's Apprentices
(13+ yrs.)
In this class students will learn how to paint landscapes in acrylic. Learn how to mix colors, paint textures and details. No previous experience needed.
