About the Artist
Elizabeth Santee is a graduated homeschooler who has been drawing since she could hold a pencil. She has taught art classes for children ages five to highschool.
Elizabeth had the privilege of studying at Valorie Snyder Studio of Fine Art for five years under many skilled instructors including Valorie Snyder, Cynthia Haase, and Michael Carroll. Elizabeth was also an apprentace at Valorie Snyder Studio for a number of years.
In 2008 Elizabeth studyied oil painting at the Community College of Aurora under William Randal Painter.
Elizabeth has sold multiple paintings and won many awards. She has participated in numerous art competitions and her artwork has been displayed at various galleries.
Elizabeth has a passion for reproducing the masterpieces of the Creator and trying to depict His creations as accurately as possible. Her favorite subjects to draw are from a list in the Bible from Philippians 4:8,"...whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things."
Besides painting and drawing, Elizabeth enjoys playing guitar and piano, singing, reading, studying the German language, and ballet.
